5. When the display is ready for use, the fluorescent display indicates the active source,
input resolution/frame rate and aspect ratio/screen; for example:
Adjusting the Focus,
Zoom and Position of the
Primary Lenses
Lens zoom, focus and position are motorized adjustments that are adjustable using the
remote control (Figure 2-8). This allows you to adjust the focus and image size while at the
screen for more accurate results.
Proceed as follows to adjust the left (top) and right (bottom) primary lenses for optimum
image quality.
Left (Top) Primary Lens Adjustment:
1. On the DHD Controller remote control or front panel, press MENU.
2. Select Calibration from the Main Menu and enter the Calibration Menu passcode.
3. Select Adjustment Mode from the Calibration Menu and set it to Primary.
4. Press EXIT (or MENU) repeatedly to return to the Main Menu.
5. Select Service from the Main Menu.
6. Select Display Device from the Service Menu.
7. Select Configure from the Display Device menu, then select Lens.
8. Cover the Right (Bottom) primary lens.
9. Focus Left (Top) Primary Lens: To focus the projected image, use the cursor
buttons to highlight “In” or “Out.” Then, press and hold the ENTER button.
10. Adjust Zoom on Left (Top) Primary Lens: To make the picture smaller (zoom out),
use the cursor buttons to highlight the minus sign (-). Then, press and hold the
ENTER button. To enlarge the picture (zoom in), use the cursor buttons to highlight
the plus sign (+). Then, press and hold the ENTER button.
